Sample Abs Routines

This is a sample Abs Routine you can put into your exercise regime.Make sure you do not compromise on posture while doing any of these exercises. Take no longer than 40 seconds of break between each Abs exercise.This Abs routine should not take more than 20 minutes of your gym time. Add this abs routine to your normal workout routine. Do not workout your abs daily. Perform this abs routine 3-4 days a week.
Note:If you intend to get those chiseled abs you need to lose the excess fat along your belly area. Abs exercises only strengthen the abs. They do not spot reduce the fat from the stomach area. So combine this routine along with your cardio and weight exercises.



1. Leg Raises 2 sets of  15-20 each
2. Knee Raises 2 sets of 15-20 each
3. Leg Thrusts 3 sets of 15 each
4. Side Crunches 2 sets 15 each
5. Bicycle Crunches 2sets 15-20 each
7. Ab crunches 2 sets 15-20 each
8. Planks
